Seat belt safety in tweens is super important. How do you know your child is safe in the car? MUST HAVE A RESTRAINT. In many cases parents don’t know when the correct time is to allow children to wear the adult seat belt.

You know how crazy I am about car seat safety. Why should it be any different for tweens. Did you know that one child age 8 to 14 in as a passenger gets hurt in an accident every 8 minutes?? Just this fact should be more than enough to make you enforce the rules every single time your children are in the car. This is as important as baby car seat safety.
Also remember that as parents we are not only instrumental in children development but we are also influential in what they do, so make sure you are also putting your seat belt on.
