How I love NYC events. They are fun, I get to see my blogging family and it gives me a much-needed time off from the kids. What’s more to like is that I also get to check out stuff from amazing brands and also hear from the source itself what are the trends and new items for the season. Such is the case of the Celebrate the Season with InStyle even a couple of weeks ago. I was invited by fellow bloggers to the event hosted by Single Edition Media.

First up was DSW. They gave me a bag with goodies. I also was asked if I wanted to take a picture in their photo booth.

After that Viggos jeans showed us their new collections and I even scored a pair of their jeans (they don’t fit me, but they feel great! I wish they did!). Of course I checked out the other vendors including Elizabeth Arden, Bulova, Jergens, Silk’n, Etienne Agner, Sears and Sugarwish. I also try some food treats from Gardein.

InStyle did great choosing the products to showcase. The conference consisted of the vendors talking about the latest trends for the holiday. I learned so much, like how for the next seasons the watches trends are heading into smaller face watches, where watches look like bracelets. No more manly looking watch. I also learned of the new Sears Metaphor collection where everything is under $50 and looks fabulous! Also heard Kelly Cook from DSW, talk about how shoes can change our style and attitude.

I could go on and on about all the trends I learned at the event. It was so much fun and definitely glad I was able to attend. Also didn’t expect to get an awesome gift bag with amazing products like a DSW gift card, Jergens Body BB lotion candles and a Silk’n Pedi. I love events were there is fun, business and lots of learning. Great companies, awesome people and lots of fun! Of course, they are part of the InStyle crew!
