The hottest game this season has been for sure the Disney infinity games. It is a video game that is played with action figures and characters in a platform. I received the starter pack, which includes the game, the base, 3 action figures (Ironman, Black Widow and Thor), and 2 playset. I also received extra playsets. The game is pretty easy to set up. I took everything out and basically put it all in the coffee table. We put the game on and connected the base.

It is a bit hard to get used to the play style. Because you have to put the action figure on the base, if you don’t the character disappear from the screen. You can play single or dual-mode. We used Ironman and Thor first and the boys loved it! They like how the character changed when they added the play set disks. They provide power-ups and different bonuses. This game, since we got it has been a hit with the kids. I do think that at least for the little ones, they will require help using the video game console controller is they are not familiar already. The game is lots of fun, you have to collect coins and follow the instructions to complete missions. Some of the missions where a bit hard even for my 4-year-old, so he also needed help.

What I like the most about the Disney Infinity game is that you can play with all the Disney characters available, using only one game. It makes it really easy to add characters and then have a whole brand me game according to that characters story. The Marvel characters have a completely different mission than the Cars characters but they all use one game. I also like that the play seat disks are different giving each character different powers. The game is really fun, it will definitely provide infinite hours of play. Especially the Marvel set, since it is the newest addition to the Infinity family.

If you love Disney or video games or Marvel then this is really a perfect game for you. It has entertainment, action and novelty. It feels 3D and like interactive play, by having the characters of the movie outside of the television. There are definitely some things that can be improved. I wish there weren’t so many pieces, I can only imagine when we continue to build up, which we will since we really loved the game, where am I going to store all the pieces! I am excited to see what other missions the characters play.

Should you get it? YES. This is going to be probably one of the hottest items for the holidays. It is accompanied by the quality and innovation of Disney. Anyone who loves Disney will enjoy playing this game with their favorite characters, and even for the non video game enthusiasts, the figures make great gifts and they are definitely collectibles in my opinion.
