Diono has a new car seat and I am excited to tell you about it, the Rainier. It’ll be the only investment because it works from newborn until booster, so only one seat! No more switching around between car seats. This will not only save you time but it will also save you money. And who doesn’t want to save money!? I know I do!

The key feature of the Rainier that I think makes it worth it, is that it has a weight limit of 50 pounds rear facing. This means your child can stay safer longer rear facing (remember the AAP recommends rear facing for as long as possible!). But of course, the ultimate reason Diono is our go to, is the steel frame. I also never thought about car seat size. When we had our first baby, although we had a small car, we only had one kids so we could have the big car seat. Fast forward 6 years later and 3 of those car seats would’ve never fit in the same car we had! No car seat is perfect and if there is one negative about the Diono is the tall seat back. This might be an issue in smaller cars when rear facing, especially if seat is in the driver’s side. If you install it in the middle this shouldn’t be a problem or if you have a larger car like a mini van or SUV.
