This year was the second Brooklyn BabyFest and I have to be honest, last year it totally went over my head and missed it. I’m glad I was able to attend this year. It took place at the Brooklyn Expo Center. It was on a super rainy Saturday so I had to think twice about going, since I was by myself with the 3 kids! We arrived around 12:30ish and it was nice because there was not a lot of people. We were able to grab some donuts and check out ALL the vendors in about an hour.
There was a variety of vendors like Caribou Baby, a local baby wearing store, as well as some national brands like Becco. There was also bounce castles. My kids didn’t get to go on them because I was just a nut about something happening and not being able to get to them. There were also snacks and plenty of things for the kids to do, like arts and crafts plus balloons.
The ticket was $75 for a family of 4 with a gift bag. The gift bag was nice. It included a pair of Pediped shoes and some other good stuff!
My overall experience was pleasant. It was a nice afternoon. My main criticism is that they had seminars in the middle of the venue but music was pretty loud so it was kind of impossible to hear. My favorite part was the baby wearing zone where you could try different carriers and figure out what works best!
I apologize for not having more pictures as it was very VERY hard to take some with everything going on!
